Senior Spotlight: Emma Pollackov

Meet Emma Pollackov. Emma is one of our amazing seniors here at East Rockaway High School. She is a three sport athlete who is involved in the arts and music here at East Rockaway. She is also the President of the class of 2021. Emma plays an active role in the National Honor Society. During Emma’s free time, she works two jobs and really loves hanging out with her friends. 

Emma was asked an assortment of questions about her time here at ERHS:

What song title best describes your senior year experience?

“Six Feet Apart” by Luke Combs 🙁

What is your specialty ERHS lunch order?

The famous bagel with cream cheese!

What is your favorite memory from a teacher?

Mr. Gibbons’ AP Government jokes, and of course Mr. Cuttitta’s famous stories about how he was a “monsta” back in the day! (classic)

What are your plans for the future?

“I plan on majoring in psychology and taking either the forensics or clinical route. I hope to become either a profiler or a psychiatrist.”

What people (friends, coaches, teachers, etc.) have had a positive influence on your life?

Mrs. Poland, Ms. Mednick, Mr. Ceglio, Mr. Gerken, Gabriella Baccari, Nick Pannullo, and Dan Ricci.

What advice would you give to the Class of 2022?

“Make your last year of high school the best you can and don’t take it for granted. Live in the moment.”
