Poetry: Innovation and Iotacism

Perrone, Sara

Innovation and Iotacism:

Incompetent, Incapable, incomplete.

Innovation is disappearing in oUr indecisive isles.

IdeaS decrEase in speed similar to ice cream melting.

I wish impatience increased creativity instead of immense laziness.

Intelligence has increased since the internet emerged.

Intel spreads incredibly quick

Yet ice lives in OUR brains

Freezing interest and increasing inertia.

Imminent danger is infinitely closer if ideas die before they emerge.

Doing nothing seems indomitable

But it’s easy to combat in the Right scenArio.

HIghlight what is importaNt and don’t let innovation die.

Darkness only falls onto those who forget how to turn on the light.

Iotacism: excessive use of the letter ‘i’
