Attending a small high school like East Rockaway Junior Senior High School has its perks and many advantages. There are so many opportunities for students to take that it is hard to list them all. As I look back at my time here, the best advice I can give would be to get involved in as many activities, clubs, and sports, especially if you want to make more friends.
When it comes to academics here at ERHS, you are presented with many opportunities that will help your future. If you are entering high school here, I would take advantage of AP classes and classes that give college credit. East Rockaway is a small town, which benefits students to make better connections with their teachers. Senior year is definitely one of the best years, but make sure you don’t give up. In the long run, your grades matter and can hurt you as much as they can help you.
