October

October

Prime weather. Prime festivities. Prime mood. October is objectively the prime month of the year. The strain of the school year hasn’t completely crept in just yet. My skin is jubilant, for the bitter weather still hasn’t made its appearance of chills. My motivation still intact, before it seeps out completely. The trees have vivid vibrations of life left to go. The anticipation for the 31st keeps everyone on their toes and doesn’t dissatisfy. Exhilaration of seasonal media spreads rapidly. Signs, advertisements, and shirts fulfill their job of expanding the word of horror. Nothing else on par with the aesthetics. Foliage, pumpkins, coffee, flannels and apples reap sensations of comfort. Seasonal occasions of choosing heavy, orange orbs and flavorful fruit. Entering a haunted house to feel your heart beat pick up and to let out a yelp or two. Curling up in a snug blanket to drift off. You wake up to see the autumn season has drifted away and sights are sewn on the frosty air.
