Take Me Back

Abigail Prucha, Staff Writer

Take me back to those days,

Where dad would carry me to my bed,

I had no care in how I looked, I was just living life,

I didn’t care about what other people thought of me.

Take me back to those days,

Where it was in no question whether Santa was real or not,

The tooth fairy would fly me money after my tooth was lost,

I had all of my toys that made my imagination run wild.

Take me back to those days,

Where everything flowed so easy,

Relationships and friendships were much simpler,

School was genuinely enjoyable.

Take me back to those days,

Where we would zip around the playground,

Running around and excitement was a part of school,

Our phones were not the only source of occupation.
