If you don’t know, where have you been? Britney Spears’ family put her under a conservatorship for 13 years, which she was just released from. If you want to know more about that, read the prior article titled “#FREEBRITNEY.” Britney has refused to work under the harsh conditions her father put her through and the fake medical problems her father and doctors made up. What I want to focus on is where Jamie Lynn Spears (Britney’s sister) fits into this problem. 

Jamie Lynn Spears was silent for 13 years while her sister was being physically and mentally abused by their mother and father. When Britney spoke out about how terrible the conservatorship was, Jamie Lynn came under fire from fans because she was silent all those years and did not try to help her sister out of her position. Because Jamie Lynn is a coward, she has been very active recently on social media and doing interviews where she talks about Britney’s “violent” behavior towards her. In the midst of this drama, Jamie Lynn wrote a book falsely titled (in my opinion) “Things I Should Have Said”, where she writes about her daughter’s ATV accident and makes up lies about her sister, Britney. Not many people know, but Jamie Lynn’s daughter was in an ATV accident when she was 8 years old. The girl was operating an ATV that she did not know how to drive, and it tipped over into a pond. She was under water for 5 minutes, and was hospitalized and put on a ventilator, terrifying her mother Jamie Lynn. She talks about this in the book, rightfully so, but she milked the story to try to gain sympathy from people canceling her. Besides that anecdote, Jamie Lynn should not have talked about Britney in the book, because the events are too current to really get a grasp on. The book should have been written and released 5 years in the future to better gain perspective. 

Britney has responded to Jamie Lynn by not only unfollowing her on all social media platforms, but also by exposing what really happened between her and her sister throughout the conservatorship. One thing Britney talks about is that Jamie Lynn would go out and party with Britney’s friends and family and spend her sister’s money, while Britney was overworked for their pleasure. Britney has also expressed displeasure with Jamie Lynn over the Radio Disney Icon Award. At this award show, Jamie Lynn (poorly) performed remixes of Britney’s songs when she knew that Britney wanted to as well, but was in the evil clutches of her wretched father. 

Jamie Lynn has stated that on numerous occasions Britney acted violent towards her, but there is no proof of these actions. What there IS proof of, however, is Jamie Lynn yelling at restaurant customers from behind the counter while pacing around with a knife pointing it at an employee. Speaking of knives, Jamie Lynn has said that Britney has threatened her with a knife in the past. Britney’s response on Twitter was not so nice. She said “I’m actually very confused about you making that up because it’s honestly not like you at all !!!! Around the kids ???? Jamie Lynn, seriously ???” Jamie Lynn has been trying to make Britney look bad so that when she goes out and spends Britney’s money, she doesn’t look selfish and greedy. 

Even in Britney’s darkest times before the conservatorship, Jamie Lynn was not there for her at all. In one of Britney’s Instagram posts, she describes her breakup with Justin Timberlake and what Jamie Lynn did to help her (nothing). Britney’s family pressured her into doing an interview with Diane Sawyer even though she was grieving and having a hard time. Britney says that, after the interview, she came home absolutely heartbroken and embarrassed because Diane Sawyer called Britney unfaithful and a harlot on live TV. When she arrived home, Jamie Lynn was on the couch watching TV and did not acknowledge Britney at all. This was a direct cause of Jamie Lynn being spoiled by her parents with Britney’s hard earned money. 

Even though Britney has finally escaped her conservatorship, she still can’t get away from her family and their drama. Britney and Oprah have talked about doing an interview together and I hope that can be arranged, because I would love to hear what Britney has to say about the past 13 years. But for now, you can see that Jamie Lynn Spears is a lying piece of scum that should go back to her cabin in isolation forever so we never have to hear from her again.
