Our hair is a way to express ourselves, be creative, and show who you are! But our hair is also the reason so many of us get up so early in the morning, the reason we take so long to get ready, and the reason for pestering others and asking, “Does my hair look alright?” I am not sure about you, but I am always looking for new tools or ways to style my hair. Although everyone’s hair is different, wavy, straight, frizzy, curly, short, or long, I am going to share with you some tips and tricks to nail your hair every time!

Hair Tools:

  • The Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer And Volumizer Hot Air Brush: Okay, I am no expert but when it comes to drying my hair this brush is incredible! It is an easy way to get an at home blow out in only a few minutes. This brush is a styling brush with a blow dryer inside. You can also use any of the 1 of three settings Low, Cold, or High. It can be used on wet or damp hair and will dry your hair beautifully! The reason I love this brush is because it is everything in one step. It is so simple to use and really does the job!
  • The Basics: When it comes to styling hair a straightener or curling iron really comes in handy. Both a hair straightening iron and a curling iron are simple to use and can be used to make your favorite look. The straighteners can be used to make your hair straight, shiny, and smooth. While a curling iron can give you beautiful, unique, and different size curls! But did you know that you can in fact curl your hair with a straightener? Yes, it is true! It might take a little while to master but once you do it is simple. You want to start with a small section of hair and start as if you were going to straighten your hair. But where you would like the curl to start you want to turn the straightener 180 degrees away from your face and glide the straightener down the rest of that hair section.
  • Hair Waver: A triple barrel hair waver is a great tool to create natural looking beach waves. The tool looks like 3 curling irons connected. Two out of the three separate and the one barrel in the middle stays. When this is pressed onto your hair it creates beautiful waves perfect for any occasion!

Hair Tips:

  • Rinse With Cold Water: Although many of us enjoy our hot showers, it is beneficial to actually rinse with cold water at the end of your shower. It is absolutely fine to take a hot shower, but according to NaturallyCurly.Com, rinsing your hair with cold water after you condition your hair helps reduce frizz and lock in moisture.
  • Comb Your Wet Hair: Your hair is very vulnerable when wet. According to Cosmopolitan.com, it is very weak once you get out of the shower so it is important to properly care for your hair at this time. Brushing your wet hair with a brush could create more split ends. A wide tooth comb or a wet brush is better because it is not so tough on your hair!
  • Don’t Wrap Your Wet Hair: As you already know, your hair is weak and vulnerable when you first get out of the shower. When you tightly wrap your hair in a towel it causes breaking and frizziness. So it is better to pat your wet hair with a towel to dry your hair. This will reduce frizz and breaking according to Cosmopolitan.com.

I hope my tips and tricks are helpful! Trust me, I know our hair can be frustrating sometimes but our hair gives us the opportunity to be adventurous, creative, and so much more!
