Get to know more about Isabella! Here are some of her responses to questions about her high school career and post-graduation plans:
What has been your favorite class?
“AP Physics and AP Calc AB. Literally the hardest classes but the teachers and students in those classes made it so enjoyable and memorable.”
What are your plans following high school?
“I’m gonna be a mechanical engineer and build robots and Mars rovers and other cool stuff at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).”
What is something you will truly miss about ERHS after you graduate?
“Being in a small school. I loved knowing everyone and being friendly with everyone. I got to have all the teachers and be friendly with all of them and make connections with everyone, a luxury most other schools don’t have.”
Funniest memory throughout ALL of high school that you can think of:
“Hands down our Freshman year principal preview where a student in my class couldn’t speak without coughing, got a bloody nose and to top it off ate the floor with an epic fall. All while performing songs, lines, and dances. Real trooper, but it was hilarious.”
If you could give one piece of advice to the underclassmen, what would it be?
“Time management. Have time to do all your assignments, study, clubs and extracurriculars and hang with friends. Don’t forget your social life. You gotta think for the future, but don’t forget to enjoy the present as well.”
Favorite memory with a teacher:
“AP Physics class after the AP exam where we prepared for the regents: AKA Palermo, Joey, Jordan, Peter and I released a slinky down the back staircase, took bad pics of each other, roasted one another, and just had fun goofing off. Still ate up the Regents by the way.”
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
“Either being waitlisted at Cornell or winning the Rock Rivalry cup 2 years in a row/ never being last place overall. We like odd numbers: 25, 3rd, 1st and 1st.”
