3d pens are a colorful adventure for people thinking of making art and standing out. The premise of a 3d pen is that the tip of it heats up, using filament that the tip melts; you then place it on a canvas of your choice, and BOOM: art.
You can make plenty of things with these colorful pens, although you may want to start with 2D to just get the feel for it. The most effective way to fill things in is to begin by making an outline. Once you get more advanced with the process, you might be able to do things that pop out and are 3D.
If 3D pens sound interesting to you and you want to learn more about them, you could go to the Digital Fabrication Club in Tech 2 from 3:00-4:00 after school just to see if you’re actually interested. One factor that sometimes stops people from starting 3D pens is the cost. But do not fear! They can actually be quite cheap ( I got one for around $15 off of Temu). If you would like to know more about this hobby, I recommend you talk to Ms. Miah about it.
